01 // RECALIBRATION
Before Matthew could stand fully inside his own story, he needed enough distance to survive looking at it.
Life had separated experience into pieces: the watcher, the feeler, the translator; what could be seen, what could be felt, and what might finally make sense. The figures did not replace Matthew. They gave form to capacities he could not yet safely hold together or embody in public.
ASTRO, AURA and SOLAN became containers—symbolic instruments built through music, image, archetype and digital identity. Each carried part of the emotional load while the author remained at a survivable distance.
HIS BROKEN PIECES WERE COLLECTED,
GIVEN LIGHT, COLOUR AND LANGUAGE,
THEN REFRACTED BACK.
That refraction was the magic of the Myth Era. Not fantasy for fantasy’s sake, and not three separate selves: one life broken into visible frequencies, so it could be witnessed, understood and eventually reclaimed.

ASTRO carried the body of the myth: the performer, the witness and the first figure brave enough to become visible. He was not the author yet. He was the doorway.
